Product Overview

A sand blasting room, also known as a Sand blasting booth, is a larger scale sand blasting machine system designed for industrial applications. It is typically a dedicated space that is used for blasting larger parts and components, or for blasting at a higher volume or on a continuous basis. Sand blasting rooms can vary in size and can be customized to fit specific application requirements.

Abrasive sand blasting rooms, also known as sand blasting Chamber, are huge chambers used for storing abrasive blast pots, collecting abrasive residues, and recycling blast abrasive. A Sand blasting booth is made up of an enclosure that keeps fine abrasive material from accessing the outside air and a mechanism for reclaiming your abrasive material.

Sand Blasting Booth

Sand Blasting Rooms include the following features. Sand Blasting Booth with incandescent or fluorescent lighting and available double-hinged swing-out filler doors. There is only one personnel door with a viewing window. One ventilated hood with belt air regulator, air purifier with interlocking air hose from purifier to belt regulator, optional. Fingertip control nozzle on an air blow-off hose. Reclamation system with pressure sand blasting machine container, blast pipe with carbide sand blasting nozzle, on/off blast control at the end of the blast hose near the nozzle, manual push-button, or automatic purge control. Dust collector with bag shakers that work automatically.

A sand blasting room typically consists of an enclosed room or chamber, a blasting system, a dust collector system, and a ventilation system. The blasting system can be a manual or automated system, and can use a variety of abrasive materials depending on the application. The dust collection system is designed to remove dust and debris generated during the blasting process, while the ventilation system provides fresh air and helps to prevent the buildup of hazardous materials.

Sand blasting rooms are commonly used in industries such as automotive, aerospace, construction, and manufacturing. They are particularly useful for large-scale surface preparation and cleaning of parts and components, and for removing surface contaminants such as rust, scale, and old paint. They are also used for finishing and texturing surfaces, as well as for deburring and edge preparation.

Some common features of sand blasting rooms include adjustable blasting pressure, a variety of nozzle sizes and shapes, and a range of abrasive materials to choose from. They may also come with additional features such as media recovery systems, specialized lighting, and automatic blasting controls.

How Work Sand Blasting Room?

Abrasive sand blasting can be done manually with specialized abrasive sand blasting hose and nozzles for each project type. There are also mechanical abrasive blasting rigs that run automatically on railroads. Unfinished objects can be stripped of paint, mold, and rust using abrasive blasting to provide a smooth and flat surface suitable for finishing. While abrasive blasting is done, abrasive and fine dust particles fall to the floor.

After the blasting is finished, the abrasive material remaining on the floor is collected by a recovery system. There are numerous recovery systems available, some of which use sweepers, moving walls, air jets, or even moving floors to collect all debris and transport it to a recycling system. When the combination reaches the recycling system, fine particles and dust are removed, leaving the remaining high-quality abrasive material clean and ready to be re-used in the blasting pot.

Sand blasting rooms can be tailored to your specific product requirements. They are available with manual blasting hoses, rail blasting systems, and a variety of recovery methods. There is no one-size-fits-all blasting room with so many modification options.
