Garnet sand 30/60 Mesh contains roughly 11.00 Million impacting grains per kilogram of abrasive, whereas 20 Mesh slag or sand contains just 1.00 Million grains per kg. Depending on the appliance, this can result in up to double the cleaning rate with Garnet while utilizing 1/3 the abrasives of other traditional abrasives.
